Similar in concept to Samuel Beckett's Waiting For Godot, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead expands upon the exploits of two minor characters from Shakespeare's Hamlet. This existentialist comedy plays off the two characters' incomplete identities, leaving them somewhat lost in a world beyond their understanding.
